Hello Members and Friends of the Old Stone Dock Association

We are pleased to announce that our annual beach cleanup and membership drive will be held at Surf Drive Beach on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10:00 am to noon.  There will be a rain date of Sunday, May 19, 2019 if there is heavy rain.   If we should need to reschedule the cleanup to Sunday, an email will go out to those who preregister.

Remember to wear sunblock, long pants, shirts with sleeves and gloves to protect yourself from the elements.  Bags will be provided.  You may want to bring a small rake or pick if you’ll be working along the brush.  We’ll have registration and a logo wear table with men’s and ladies t-shirts and sweatshirts, baseball caps, winter hats, bags, notecards, etc. so bring cash or a check if you are interested in purchasing any of these items.  We’ll also have applications for new members and renewing members available.    Light refreshments will be provided beforehand to participants and those who visit our table.

We hope to have the flower boxes in place at the Ellen T Mitchell Bath House by the 18th as well.  At that time we’ll share with you the individual that made a contribution towards the purchase of the flowers this year.  We’ll take a group picture before heading out to clean both the beach and street side.

An email will go out to the full membership shortly as well as a follow up notice to past participants.   Please RSVP to info@oldstonedock.com to let us know if you will be able to help that day and who will be coming with you.  Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on the 18th.
