Many thanks to the bleary-eyed volunteers who showed up at 5:30 am on Sunday, July 10, to direct traffic for the Falmouth Triathlon at Surf Drive Beach.  For the fourth year, Tony and Lance Panigutti, the founders of Without Limits, have asked the Old Stone Dock Association to assist with traffic control as competitors arrive, and crowd control during the event.

Tony and Lance are fine athletes and organizers.  Their teams move quickly and efficiently to set up the courses and break them down in time for residents and visitors to enjoy the beach.  The event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. They give the Association $1,000 for our assistance and another $1,000 or-so for our scholarship fund depending on how many athletes participate.

With 17 volunteers, we fielded the largest support group to date. Our own critique is that we could use even a few more traffic controllers next year, so please keep it in mind if you find yourself res
